Yaaawwwnnn... you can learn a lot from your cats, particularly how to yawn with style.

Well, went to Cleveland yesterday for the family birthday party thing.  The Present That Wasn't Ready was not in fact anything bad but a very nice gold pendant which holds my father's baby ring, which I myself wore for my christening almost 35 years ago.  Tiny little thing, very delicate, and now safely attached to a very nice flat gold pendant with my dad's initials and birthday engraved on the back.  This I will save for special occassions as the tiny little ring is terribly delicate and could not hold up to everyday wear.

Also got a peculiar little candle lamp which I have not determined what I shall do with it.  It would be very useful in a power outage, and as I have recently had some enlightening experience with such (pardon the pun) I will have to think what to do with this.

Also some money from my grandmother, always appreciated, never the wrong color or size.  Heh.

I have been checking out jobs on Monster.com and pondering the oft-repeated phrase, "Do what you love, the money will follow."

Today I will be going to see "I, Robot" and remembering Mr. Asimov.  If only he could have seen what his creations have become.

Also pondering lunch at Panera.

Tonight, I get back to writing.
