I have a plan.
I'm sure you're relieved to hear that.
It occured to me this morning that NWT might accept my outdated A+ certification as filling the Introduction to Microcomputers course. When I talk to the academic advisor I can show them the card (yes I still have it, I paid $1,500 for that card) and possibly the certificate itself (yes, I still have it, ditto).
If not, I revert to Plan A and test out of it.
Plan C, I fix them with my gimlet stare and say in a sepulchral voice, "I have been using computers for thirty years. In my circle of friends it is considered a gross social indecency to buy a turn-key system. Those who do not build their own computers from the board up are looked upon as lepers. I may be a bit behind the times, but I assure you I not only remember that the black wires go in the middle but I can install my own hard drives and sound cards. I ever remember what a C prompt is. "
That'll scare'em into submission.
Or get me put in a museum as a holy relic, I'm not sure which.
