Hmph. Seems that I'm considered a criminal for writing fanfic.

Let me guess, it's the same spiel they've used against Napster. In case I didn't make it clear, we don't take money for doing this. We spend all this time and the archivists spend a lot of their own money to do this on a completely non-profit basis.

Fine. Whatever. I'm not ever going to be ashamed of doing this. The fanfic community gave me the encouragement I needed to think I could do this stuff for real when everybody else in my life thinks I'm a wash-out and a loser. I know copyright. I live with it too. I'm looking forward to someone fanfic-ing my stuff. It proves someone's actually reading it.

Now I'm getting into a right royal rant, so I'd better quit.
