Go here to read something disgraceful. Take your Comfortably Numb stuff first or your blood pressure will hit the roof.
If you're not inclined to read the link above, here's the gist. It's a press release from Public Employees for Environmental Responsibility, an organization of field scientists, land management professionals, and other environmental sorts. There's a book that was and is still for sale at the National Park Service at the Grand Canyon that states the Canyon was created during the Noah's Ark flood. The book is blatantly Creationist. Despite being called on offering a religiously-based book at a government installation (i.e. the National Park Service), and despite being told so by a lot of very intelligent people like geologists who had several decades of research and data to back up the argument to the contrary, the book has not been pulled from the shelves. PEER was told the book was "under review". In fact no review ever took place.
These people do not acknowledge science at all.
I don't know what software they're running but it ain't Reality.
And people think I am delusional?!?
