No word yet from Interzone as to "Public Assistance". I guess I need to get my butt in gear and get "Shepherds" sent out to Asimov's.

At times I really wish I had the gazongas to do this publishing thing using Instabook for a printer. Get Charlene to handle the fantasy end of it. Get someone to do the website and business end of it since I have no idea on that kind of thing. One must turn frustration into action, after all. The world needs more science-fiction.

If I'm doing something to deal with the problem, I'm not screaming with frustration, I'm not in danger of a heart attack from the increase in blood pressure, and the problem gets solved.

I need to grab Charlene, take her out to dinner and lay all this out on the table. See what she says. Having worked at a book store all these years, she knows considerably more about the business than I do. I'm just a frustrated writer who wants to do all this myself.

It has slightly more of a chance of actually making money than starting a punk-ambient space music band called Flock of Ostriches.
