My first day off from school. I have finals tomorrow and Thursday but today I don't have to leave the house until 3 for work. I find myself wandering around the house aimlessly when I'm not in here reading my RSS feeds. Mostly, though, I've been playing with my newest toy.

Yes, folks, I got an iPod.

And then I discovered The Week In Science and the SETI Institute podcasts. Which necessitated getting IPodder. And now I have almost 14 hours of SETI podcasts alone. Fortunately they're done at lower bitrates so they only take up a fraction of the space of music. 170 meg for all the SETI 'casts.

I imported all my Loreena McKinnett.

And now I'm thinking of getting one of those little FM transmitters to play it through my truck's radio.

Now if I could just get it to remove stuff from the iPod's listings, I'd feel much better.


Science podcasts... I'm wallowing in amazement.
