Things I Want To Do:

A podcast show concentrating on the space program and futurist topics.

A non-fiction book about the early unmanned interplanetary probes from the 1960's.

A book of my old Revelations of the Day series and my blog posts from the last several years.

A fiction book about an artificial intelligence adopted by a human family and the trouble he has trying to fit in to human society.

A TV show about a group of grad students given control of a "spare" Cassini probe (the back-up of the one that actually flew, minus Huygens), for a mission to Neptune, involving all the politics of NASA and the machinations of various people trying to take credit for the scientific work being done, etc., etc. To be called "Project Trident". Discover new moons, outwit your professors, schmooze government officials, dodge the CIA... dodge the CIA? Hey, I can't resist throwing in Something You Ought Not-a Seen!

My TV series based on "The Sheperds of M15". At least get it written.

A fiction book about a person who was genetically engineered by a bunch of empire-building, world-conquering aliens. While he or she seems to be entirely human and in fact is entirely human, the aliens have altered the "junk" DNA to carry alien genetics and biochemical programming. The aliens are using this person as a "periscope" of sorts, to gather intelligence on Earth and humankind. The person becomes aware they're doing so only after the attack begins, and then spends the rest of the book trying to convince the humans their only chance is to run and hide rather than fight, and try to keep the aliens from killing them outright as a corrupted tool. Neither side listens, both sides hate him or her, while the Earth is being systematically firebombed down to the bedrock and what humans are still free and alive are fighting a futile battle against an overwhelming force.

Sometimes I think that if I can't sit down and write for the next month or two, I'm just going to explode.
