Started a week late, finished a day early. I am going to finish the book, though, and post it all to the blog and eventually make a print version available on AAP. Quite a ride it's been, these last three weeks or so. I'm quite looking forward to meeting the other folks from Chattanooga who participated, and we've been talking on the forums on NaNo that we might meet up in January. Here is one of my "prizes," an icon I can put on my blog. Also got a certificate I can print out and have someone calligraphy in the pertinent details.
Still, it was good to win the first time I ran the manuscript through the validator. It's changed quite a bit from when I started it. Every time I say I'm not going to do something with political overtones I end up preaching anyway. Sheesh.
So anyway. My own personal celebration will have to wait until the weekend, alas, as I am currently living in Red Alert mode.
