I'd scream if I had the energy. Oy, what a day.

Today I:

• registered the ISBN number for MO (0977773302 )
• uploaded everything
• and wrestled with the spine dimensions (of all things) until I was blue in the face and STILL didn't get it to work right
• and finally after several hours away from it came back, re-did the spine thing, and at least got CafePress's system to recognize it had the spine image and use it even though it ended up looking wonky anyway
• and finally ordered the first three copies.

So forgive me for sounding a bit peeved and frustrated because the whole stupid thing just DIDN'T WANT TO WORK RIGHT!

Well. For what it's worth the thing is done. I have books on the way. Short of stretching the spine vertically out of all proportion to the stated dimensions, I've done everything I know to do and it still DOESN'T LOOK RIGHT. Spine dimensions were supposed to be .47 X 8 inches. It ended up being 1.47 X 9 or something utterly insane. I understand bleed over but was I supposed to make it 10 inches long? So I'm a little on the aggravated side.

Well. I'm trying to calm down now and get my mind off it again. It's a bit late to take the scope out tonight. I guess I'll just chill and read some fanfic or something. Catch up with BoingBoing. Whatever.
