I was just watching the promotional video for the new Crew Exploration Vehicle. It's Apollo. It's just a bigger Apollo. They even say the cargo carrier configuration is as big as a Saturn 5. Lockheed won the contract. They're calling it the Ares.

Well, as it is Apollo all over again they're doing it right. You can't mess with success. So it's a bit of a vindication for all of us who have been saying they should return to the Apollo type launch configuration all along.

A good modular booster that can fly everything makes things ever so much simpler.
