Well, I've got a copy of Aquaria on the way. The first copy.

And let me tell you, it weren't easy to get it. Got up this morning and as I had everything done already I thought it would be fairly straightforward to upload it all. Wrong. Of course. I uploaded the 5x8 size PDF and the CP system tells me it won't work. 500 page limit. With 683 pages (don't ask, suffice to say I had to reformat AGAIN, yadda yadda). So after a panicked e-mail to a fellow CP publisher I've traded e-mails with in the past (which he didn't answer, probably isn't home), I calmed down and looked at the CP binding options again. They have a slightly larger size that they call "technical manual" size (?) and so I went back to reformat AGAIN. Which took it down to 383 pages. Great, fine, it works. Then delete everything I had already uploaded and re-upload the newer larger stuff. Had to get another barcode too, since the lower page count lowered the prices. (18.70 base price now, whoo-hoo!) Got it all uploaded, then it barfs on the SYNOPSIS of all things... I can change that later, so I fired off an angry e-mail to CP technical support and just went with "Sequel to Machina Obscura". I was going to put the back cover blurb in but apparently the CP system DOESN'T KNOW IT'S REAR END FROM A HOLE IN THE GROUND. But it took it, so I was able to order the first copy. Should be here probably next week.

Anyway. It's there now. If you want to take a chance that it may not be exactly quite right you can already order it from the AAP shopsite. But the OFFICIAL release date is Thanksgiving.

I still need to register the ISBN and send in two copies to the Copyright office. Oy.

I love my job. I really do.
