Why? Why?? WHY??
Why is it so complicated to move your iTunes folders and have iTunes actually able to find them afterward?!?!?
New 200gig external hard drive, meet 6.8 gig of music, tv shows, and podcasts. Say hello. Say hello. SAY HELLO.
New 30gig iPod, go sit on top of the printer and NOT BE USED tomorrow because of ALL THE COPYING AND RECOPYING OF 6.8 GIG OF MUSIC, TV, ETC., FROM ONE DAMNED FOLDER TO ANOTHER! WITH iTUNES IDIOTICALLY AND ILLOGICALLY NOT ABLE TO SEE IT!
THIS... THIS... is why the Force made WINDOWS!!!!
THIS... THIS... is why you have that darling little bit of programming where your computer asks you "Look for files?"
APPLE IS BETTER?!?
At close to 3 hours to copy everything from one place to another, and the idiotic ommision that "Consolidate Library" will copy it for you despite what the help file says, I am now copying my library BACK to my laptop from where I had copied it TO the new HD just so I can tell it to copy it AGAIN back to the new HD. BECAUSE... APPLE IS MALICIOUSLY AMBIGUOUS.
GET A TECHNICAL WRITER WHO KNOWS WHAT THEY'RE DOING TO WRITE YOUR HELP FILES AND USER MANUALS, NOOBS!
THE ONES YOU HAVE COULDN'T WRITE THEIR WAY OUT OF A WET PAPER BAG.
