Greetings, squishy lifeforms.

Well, here's the update. In a moment I will be calling in for two days off since I have doctors' appointments tomorrow and Thursday. Dr. Bowers tomorrow for my eyes, during which my eyes will be dilated and if you think I'm spending ten hours in front of a 17 inch monitor under fluorescent lights after that, tell me what you're putting in your air freshener because it ain't reality. Thursday I'll be at the Dodson Clinic for as yet unspecified and unknown events. Not knowing how long this will all take, I need two days off. Basically if you make me work more overtime than not on a job that is nothing but sitting on my overstuffed posterior, you can take what you get when something breaks.

In other news, I joined a gym today here in Fort Snuffleupagus and did forty minutes on a treadmill and ten on a recumbent bike.

I was going to listen to my IPod there but they had the radio on and ported through the aerobics speakers, so you couldn't hear yourself think. Grr. Oh well. They're open til midnight four days a week. And the whole mindset of the place just feels better to me than the other place I checked. The other place was 24 hr, but they seemed to have this tendency to be the managing sorts who would insist you do only their program. I tend to react badly to such things. I get all stubborn and passive aggressive. Ask my mom about me and cleaning my room as a child.

It may have looked like a tornado went through it to the rest of the world, but I knew where everything was.

Anyway, must do the call-in thing. And take a bath. Oy. Maybe eat something a little later. The BP drug still kills the appetite.
