I've lost 5 pounds. I'm now down to 218.

All that walking and I've only lost 5 pounds. But on the other hand aside from trying to keep my sodium intake under 2000mg/day I've not really restricted my diet. So take as you will.

I have, however, found a really bitchin' low sodium stif fry sauce. Numma numma. And discovered that contrary to my assumptions Worchestershire sauce has only 50mg of sodium per tablespoon. Use that with no salt added tomato sauce and I could do mom's stroganoff.

And snack foods? M&Ms. I've never been big on sugar but hey, 30mg per little bag out of the machines at work. Sunflower seeds (my oral fixation of choice while at the computer) also have comparatively low sodium.

Potassium chloride salt? Is good when mixed into foods but is so salty that if you sprinkle it directly on your tongue it feels like it's burning its way through. Seriously. So forget sliced tomatoes, or use regular salt.

Balsamic vinegar? No sodium. Olive Oyl? A nice lady, and the actual oleoresinous substance has no sodium either. So when making my favorite Mozarella-n-Maters salad the only thing with sodium is the cheese.

Alpine Lace makes low sodium cheeses. Heluva Good also makes low sodium stuff, and as they make one of the finest french onion chip dip in existence I have hope on the cheese front as well.

I can't remember the brand name but there's these little one-cup packages of microwavable brown rice that have no sodium as well. Thus when I do the stir fry thing the only thing with sodium is the stir-fry sauce and the natural sodium in the meat. Yes, meat has sodium. Not much, but still has some.

You'd think bread wouldn't have any sodium or be low sodium, but commercially-made bread has comparatively a lot. English muffins are about it these days for me. Except for corn tortillas for some reason. Not flour tortillas. Only the corn. Go figure.

I have the bar code for Aquaria done now. So I can spend the day tomorrow assembling the book and registering the ISBN. It will be ISBN number 0977773310. Cover price as per my distributor's instruction will be the base CafePress price of $24.13. Should be around $16.50 retail.

For a 571 page book that's a hell of a deal.

I was going through some old Favorites URLs today and found the one for the folks who distribute books to people in prisons. I'm thinking I might donate some of my books, maybe a couple copies of each. Why not share the love, eh?

Weird Al's "White & Nerdy"= Rodney McKay's theme song.

Figured out how to use 16000 bitrate samples along with 11025 samples in Audacity by having them on two separate audio tracks. So that solves the problem of samples not being of the same bitrate.

My cats seem to be undergoing a role reversal. The last two nights it's been Fuzz sleeping on top of my head instead of Boo. So that's another five pounds of fur and muscle compressing my neck vertebrae through the night. But he doesn't knead my hair, only starts purring like a chainsaw whenever I move.

I'm getting harrassed in There by paintball-gun weilding maniacs. There's a place called Zephyr where a lot of people hang out, it's slightly less populated than Zona though it's becoming a real pain because everyone and their brother is building there now and you get a lot of lag for all the objects rezzing up when you walk around. This bunch of goombas for some reason have decided I'm a prime target. I really don't like being literally thrown across several hundred meters of desert landscape by some twit who thinks it's hilarious to shoot several hundred paintballs at me. I don't know if this is me in particular or what, but I don't like living in a fragging war zone just because I want to be around people and try to make friends. The idiots also like to race around in dune buggies and I've gotten smashed against the architecture several times too. I keep changing clothes hoping they won't recognize me but I think the purple hair and Neo-type glasses are a dead give away.

I went into my firewall settings and I hope that's part of my lock-up problems but the time before last when the twits murderized me the machine locked up and froze anyway. Grr.... Problem is, wherever you are when you log out is where you show up when you log in again. I was able to teleport away before the twits saw me again. Thank the Force one of my teleport favorites is labled "TalynKai's Place". That pustule-like house stuck on the side of a cliff on perpetually night-shrouded Tyr never looked so good.

And I finally found Virtual Vikki's again, so I have tie dye now. Oy.
