According to the good folks of DragonCon as relayed through Jenchuan (the estimable webmaster of Jen's Home for Ray Park, the unofficial but to my mind deserves to be official website of the wondrous Ray Park), Ray will be attending DragonCon. So once more -- for the third time in as many years! -- I shall once again get to see/hug the Man of My Dreams.
For those of you who do not know, Ray was the actor who played the villain Darth Maul in Star Wars Episode 1 -- the Phantom Menace and also played the slimy and villainous Toad in X-Men. He was also the evil and stone-faced (sensing a pattern here?) DIA agent A. J. Ross in Ballistic -- Ecks vs. Sever. For some reason people keep casting him as villains. That shall be my word to him this year. "Darling, you really must stop being villains. Sure the heroes are boring, they're smarmy, they're annoyingly lucky, but really sweet-cheeks, I would feel so much better if you lived through the entire movie!"
Actually, considering he hasn't been in anything since EvsS, seeing him in ANYTHING would be good. But really, three roles, three death scenes, it gets damned old seeing the man you lust after dying time after time. He's like this amazingly good-looking lemming...
Oh well. He's our amazingly good-looking lemming.
I suppose I should hope that Lexa Doig won't be there, since then I would blow my logic circuits trying to decide which of them to drool over. The joys of being an equal opportunity drooler...
These black-haired elf chicks will be the death of me.
