(Y'know, part of me is kind of incensed since Wally Schirra wanted to name his Apollo 8 command module "Phoenix" in tribute to Grissom, White and Chaffee, and NASA wouldn't let him. They said it would bring up unpleasant reminders of the Apollo 1 fire. Yet now we've had 2 shuttles destroyed yet it's okay to use "Phoenix" now? I'm just sayin'.)
